Why choose KidzSize ‘School Based’ Education & Training?

Proven quality...

We delivered over 10,000.00 hours of school based sessions in 2009 – 2010, covering years R through to 8. Every programme is specifically designed for the individual schools to fit with their needs in terms of time, activity areas and approach. We believe that every school has a unique ethos and we work hard to understand and complement this with flexible staff and working practices.

A unique blend...

We use a combination of factors to offer a service blend unlike any other independent provider, which has received praise and positive recognition during numerous school Ofsted inspections, independent assessments and from a huge number of our satisfied customers.

Whatever you need...

We can offer your school a provision on a termly or yearly basis, supporting anything from one class, one year group or the entire school in their P.E provision. We will work with you to identify which areas of the curriculum you would like us to deliver through the review of your long term plan.

Understanding your school...

Once we have identified where we can support your school, Sport Support Education & Training will take time to understand your school ethos and produce an 'Independent School Curriculum Plan (ISCP)' for your school, which contains vital information for the partnership to work effectively. This information is produced and entered into a working file which used whenever our instructors visit your school.

Great PPA support option...

Because our staff are able to take entire classes of children independently, our provision offers a great option for covering class teachers' PPA time, as well as NQT time, training days & SEN release time.

Effective & approved planning...

Sport Support Education & training ensures comprehensive planning is provided for sessions they deliver; this includes units of work, lesson plans and session evaluations for each session.

Assessment support...

After years of working with schools we appreciates that for many of the schools in which it provides support, class teachers have little or no P.E time with their group, therefore, we have developed an assessment register which will provide class teachers with achievement levels on each of the units learning objectives for every half term module delivered.

Ensuring high quality...

Sport Support Education & Training works closely with the school sport partnerships, LEA’s and other school support agencies in their operational areas to ensure that we continually meet the desired high qualities set out in the Government's policies.

The right people...

We only employ people who we believe have the correct skills and character to continue to uphold our excellent reputation. These are personnel with plenty of experience within the school environments, a good knowledge base for physical education, relevant qualifications and the right personality.   Because Sport Support Education & Training has a wide range of specialist teachers we are able to offer the absolute highest standard of teaching for any particular unit and activity.

Equipment for all...

We have a wide range of child specific sports equipment available to its entire staff for use when needed in your school. This resource complements and extends that which your school has to offer and will allow children access to different kinds of sports equipment to make their lessons more exciting and inclusive.

Getting it right...

Sport Support Education & Training will do everything in its power to get the partnership with your school working well for all involved. We understand it is often a difficult, yet necessary step to bring external organizations into the school.   We will work with you to "fine-tune" our activities until you are satisfied with the service we provide.
